One of Mombasa’s finest musicians, Dogo Richie has been entangled into a very unfortunate unexpected scandal.
The vocal musician was recently exposed as a con by an upcoming artiste known as T Joseph, who claimed the star scammed him KSh 5,000.
T Joseph did not share much details about how he was conned by Dogo Richie but shared screenshots of a conversation between him and the latter as he tried to recover his KSh 5,000.
Taking to a popular Facebook group, Kubwa Studios, T Joseph disclosed that he sent Dogo Richie KSh 5,000 so that he can help him secure a show.
According to the screenshot seen by Yeiyo.com, Dogo Richie received the money but failed to honour his end of the deal.
T Joseph noted that he had tried to get his money back but Dogo Richie has been taking him round in circles.
Well, since Richie had failed to pay up, T Joseph decided to expose him online in a move that saw the Hayana Mjuzi’s brand ruined.
“Dogo Richie Huyo jamaa simsingizii.Nakumbuka nxt day yake nlipokua nnemtumia hela alinishkur sana kwa kua mamke alikua amelazwa hosi saa hii ashasahau. Tapel ni tapel tu ata asaidike,” T Joseph wrote.
Efforts by Yeiyo.com to get Dogo Richie’s side of the story proved fruitless as the artiste could not answer our phone calls.
The expose angered many music lovers especially those from Mombasa who bashed the singer for killing the dreams of an upcoming musician.
Others, however, defended Dogo Richie, holding that T Joseph could be one of the many clout chasers trying to get relevance using the singer’s name.
