The aforementioned was recently brought to life by celebrated Kenyan artiste Qibuchi, whose talent and passion in music opened greater doors for him as far as his career progression is concerned.

Yeiyo.com has learnt Qibuchi, who was a Constable Prison Warder at Mwea Prison recently landed a much-awaited promotion thanks to his talent, Yes!

Qibuchi’s promotion from the rank of Constable to Corporal knocked on his door after impressing Interior CS Kithure Kindiki with a wonderful performance during his recent visit at the Mwea Prison on Monday, May 8.

Yeiyo.com understands Qibuchi caught CS Kindiki’s attention after performing his Nimechoka hit song to him and other guests who had accompanied the government official.

It should be noted Qibuchi’s song Nimechoka which highlights the plight of many men in uniform had earlier been received well by millions of Kenyans, especially police officers who felt he represented their voices in the best way possible.

Well, the same finally hit Kindiki Kithure’s ears and he did not hesitate to promote Qibuchi instantly.

Of course, Qibuchi did not get the promotion on a silver platter as he has been diligent and competent in the Kenyan prison service for over a decade.

Following Qibuchi’s promotion to the rank of Corporal, fellow police officers, his fans, family and Kenyans a whole took to different social media platforms to congratulate him.

Yeiyo.com has learnt Qibuchi has not only been working as a cop but also a volunteer community worker under Latewa Arts CBO.

Through Latewa Arts CBO, Qibuchi has been able to push for reforms and help many talented youth change their lives for the better using their talents.

Clearly, his song Nimechoka, coupled with the many years of experience in the prison service and community involvement played major role in his promotion.
