Kenya’s most respected and appreciated musician Nyota Ndogo has come out to share some wisdom nuggets with her colleagues in the wider entertainment industry, otherwise known as showbiz.
The Watu Na Viatu crooner took time to educate fellow creatives on how to make money and still remain relevant without pulling some moves just for showbiz.
Nyota Ndogo, through a long social media post seen by YEIYO.com urged creatives to do away with show off as it not only drains one’s energy but also finances.
Using her own life as the perfect case study, Nyota Ndogo disclosed many people look down on her when they bump into her at her hotel looking all dirty and worn out.
However, that does not startle her as she knows exactly how her hotel business has changed her life and that of her family.
The mother of two with one on the way reiterated that creatives should invest in profitable side hustles during their prime time instead of burning their fortunes in parties and soft life.
According to Nyota Ndogo, music is unpredictable therefore side hustles is what will keep creatives afloat during on rainy days.

Hawa watu wanaokusifia na kukupost wakati upo juu na unakula na kumwaga nao hao niwamsimu pia. Ukishaisha aje mwengine watamganda huyo mwengine. Her sentiments were echoed by hundreds of her fans who camped on the comments section of her post to praise her for using her wisdom and life experience to help his colleagues.
Nyota Ndogo’s post was triggered by reports of the alleged death of gospel singer Alpha Mwana Mtule.

The death rumours spread like bush fire with quite a number of people claiming the musician had tried to take his own life due to endless frustrations and depression.
However, it turned out to be a hoax as Alpha Mwana Mtule himself and some of his friends shut down claims that the musician was dead.
Alpha Mwana Mtule, through his official social media pages disclosed he was poisoned while at a friend’s place in Rongai.
He thanked his fans for their prayers and informed them that police had launched investigations to nab suspects behind his poisoning.
