Popular child artist Sheilah Sheldone has taken to social media to celebrate and congratulate her mother after landing a promotion.
Sheilah Sheldone, through a social media post seen by YEIYO.com disclosed that her mother had been promoted from the position of Chief Inspector to Superintendent.
The young girl congratulated her mother as she held that the promotion was long overdue considering the fact that she has been hardworking and determined.
Sheilah noted that God has been merciful to her family and even granted her mother a promotion despite the fact that she has been on her sick bed fighting for her life.
The young Kenyan artist posted a photo of herself with her mother, both rocking sports attires, followed by the caption;
“Congratulations, Mum! Your promotion from Chief Inspector (CIP) to Superintendent (SP) is well-deserved and a testament to your hard work and dedication. I’m so proud of you and excited to see your continued success. Here’s to the next chapter of your career! Indeed God loves you even at your sick bed, you have a reason to praise God. The latest development impressed most if not all Sheilah Sheldone’s fans and supporters who joined her in congratulating the mum on her promotion.
It should be noted that the promotion came barely two months after Sheilah Sheldone’s mum went under the knife for a life-threatening surgery.
Sheldone’s mum had been flown to India for specialised surgery which was a total success.
Not long after the surgery, Sheilah informed her fans that she had relocated to the US for studies.
According to Sheilah, her relocation to the US was made possible by a well-wisher who decided to help her following her mother’s quandaries.
However, a cross section of netizens called out Sheilah, holding that she scammed Kenyans with a fake medical appeal for her mother.
Quite a number claimed Sheilah and her mum had colluded to scam Kenyans with the medical appeal so as to raise funds for their relocation to the US.
It is paramount to note that Kenyans had contributed over KSh 2 million to help Sheilah and family offset her mother’s hospital bills and surgery.
