Congolese musician Fally Ipupa has somewhat addressed his alleged beef with singer Rihanna’s baby daddy A$ap Rocky.

Fally Ipupa recently commented on a TikTok video decrypting a scenario through which A$ap Rocky allegedly turned down his request for a collabo with Mandown songstress, Rihanna.

Fally confirmed to the world that he has never reached out to Rihanna or A$ap Rocky for collabos, holding that an imposter using his name may have taken advantage and reached out to the US music top hitters.

In a comment filled with irony and sarcasm, Fally Ipupa said whoever reached out to the couple was most definitely a wannabe and not himself.

“Ah good! It was little Fally who contacted him then. It is not the Fally Ipupa,” he commented.

Fally Ipupa’s clarification comes barely days after A$ap Rocky through a media interview disclosed how he turned down the formers request for a song collabo with his baby mama Rihanna.

According to media reports, Fally Ipupa had reached out to A$ap Rocky to as for permission to work with Rihanna which was rudely turned down, allegedly.

Speaking during a media interview with an American media station, Rocky disclosed that he turned down Fally’s request to work with Rihanna because he was disrespectful.

“Fally Ipupa contacted me for a Feat with Rihanna. Firstly, I am not my wife’s manager, but I refused because I would say I didn’t like his was of approach. He called me bro instead of Sir. He is the one who needs visibility, he must be respectful and then we will see the rest,” Rocky allegedly told the media.

It is not yet clear if indeed the real Fally Ipupa reached out to the two stars for a collabo or not or the whole thing is just rumours.

Well, rumours or not, the report angered many Africa music lovers who held A$ap Rocky should have done better if indeed Fally had initially reached out with a collabo request.

It should be noted that Fally Ipupa prides himself in 9.6 million followers on Facebook, while A$ap Rocky only has 8.6 million followers, making a difference of a million followers.

With that, many insisted that Rocky should put respect on Fally Ipupa’s name and not the other way round.
