October being a cancer awareness month, Stella thought it wise to take to social media to sensitise the masses about the deadly disease as she paid tribute to people she has lost to the beast that is cancer.
In a long post seen by this writer on Stella’s official Instagram and Facebook pages, the now all grown actress took her time to encourage cancer warriors and their loved ones even as they fight the disease.
Stella revealed that she has personally lost two family members to cancer hence her zeal and motivation to sensitise the public about the aforementioned.
“THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST AND THOSE STILL BATTLING CANCER. I’ve lost Two of my dearest Family Members to Cancer. The PAIN and MENTAL hold it takes on you is unbearable. Being Cancer Awareness MONTH I want you to take some time to appreciate the memories you’ve had with your loved ones. See them for the warriors they are and appreciate them for going through such difficult and painful journeys. For those Battling Cancer I want you to know that you are Appreciated,Supported and Loved. So everyday you feel like giving up remind yourself that you are NOT a Disease…FIGHT like there is no tomorrow, LAUGH like it’s your last and LOVE like it’s your FIRST time. YOU CAN DO THIS!
