This, former Machachari actress Natasha Ngegie alias Stella has learnt the hard way after being pounced on mercilessly over her latest social media post.

October being a cancer awareness month, Stella thought it wise to take to social media to sensitise the masses about the deadly disease as she paid tribute to people she has lost to the beast that is cancer.

In a long post seen by this writer on Stella’s official Instagram and Facebook pages, the now all grown actress took her time to encourage cancer warriors and their loved ones even as they fight the disease.

Stella revealed that she has personally lost two family members to cancer hence her zeal and motivation to sensitise the public about the aforementioned.

“THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST AND THOSE STILL BATTLING CANCER. I’ve lost Two of my dearest Family Members to Cancer. The PAIN and MENTAL hold it takes on you is unbearable. Being Cancer Awareness MONTH I want you to take some time to appreciate the memories you’ve had with your loved ones. See them for the warriors they are and appreciate them for going through such difficult and painful journeys. For those Battling Cancer I want you to know that you are Appreciated,Supported and Loved. So everyday you feel like giving up remind yourself that you are NOT a Disease…FIGHT like there is no tomorrow, LAUGH like it’s your last and LOVE like it’s your FIRST time. YOU CAN DO THIS! With love @natashangegie,” wrote Stella.

Well, while her awareness message touched the hearts of some of her fans and followers, the photos accompanying her post threw countless netizens aback.

The photos left a bad taste in the mouths of many Kenyans who decided to put her back in line over the seemingly intentional “mix up”.

Stella’s critics condemned her for sharing raunchy photos online even though she was trying to pass a very important message.

Many wondered how photos of her without a top and exposing acres of her skin was related to cancer awareness.

Hundreds of social media users who bumped into her photo post concluded her goal was to advertise herself to would be suitors but not to pass #cancer awareness message.

Others could not believe a “kid” like her could expose her body in such a manner irregardless of the message she was trying to pass.

Quite a multitude noted that her actions stunned them owing to the fact that she’s just a kid who just grew before their eyes.

The troll was so intense on the comments section of Stella’s post that she was forced to address the nation.

The actress reiterated that all she was doing was championing the fight against cancer and nothing else.

Even with her explanation, critics dragged her online on end with a horde holding that there are many effective ways she could have used to pass her message but the one she chose.
