Revered gospel musician Stayrich Mwamra has come out to expose the evils done by some Kenyan awards’ organisers.

While exposing them through social media, the Muweza hitmaker asked organisers of local awards to stop calling him with proposals for nominations in their awards.

In a post sighted by YEIYO.com, the singer called out the organisers for manipulating artistes and the Kenyan public in order to make money fraudulently.

According to Stayrich Mwamra, most awards organisers are just scammers using their awards to milk Kenyans dry through USSD codes.

Mwamra disclosed that the organisers use nominees to convince their fans to vote for them so that they can make as much money as possible through USSD codes charges.

The star noted that some organisers usually collect funds but award their own friends and allies.

He revealed that many don’t even compensate nominees with financial token despite having promised them the same.

Stayrich Mwamra said he is not interested with nominations, insisting that he will never be used in helping the organisers to scam innocent fans.

“Stop inboxing me to participate in any awards. I will not waste my precious time and my fan’s time for the scam awards. Not interested at all. Most of these awards are scam. Fans vote using money. They collect alot of money, artists work so hard to be voted. At the end they don’t win any award, nor given even a single coin for participating. Scaaaaaam!” Stayrich Mwamra wrote on Facebook.

His sentiments were echoed by most of his fans who camped on the comments section of his post to bash the scamming awards organisers.
