This, he proved recently as he took to social media to pamper his eldest daughter, Saumu Mbuvi with love as she turned a year older.

To Kick off, Saumu’s big day, Mike Sonko joined a few of her loved ones to wish her all the best even as she ages.
For starters, we all know Mike Sonko as a “Kichwa Ngumu”, however, for his daughter, Mike Sonko became soft as he confirmed his undying love and unending support to Saumu on social media.
Taking to all his social media pages, the flamboyant politician posted a photo of his daughter Saumu, followed by a short but sweet birthday message which impressed many netizens.
Through his caption, the former Nairobi Governor assured Saumu her 360 support as long as she lives to see him alive.
Sonko admitted Saumu may have grown but she is still his little girl.
“Even though you are now a woman and a mother of two, to me you are still and will always be daddy’s little girl. You’ve made me one of the youngest proudest grandpa’s around. Being your father is the greatest blessing I have ever received. I will always do my best to see you happy. Never let anything bring you down as you always have my support until the day I leave this world. Happy birthday my daughter Saumu Mbuvi,” Mike Sonko wrote.
Mike Sonko’s sweet birthday message to his daughter came barely hours after Kenyans on social media hailed him for changing boxer Conjestina Achieng’s life.
As earlier reported by a cross section of the Kenyan media, latest photos of Conjestina Achieng lightened the moods of many not long after they were first made public by sports journalist Carol Radull.
The journo had visited Conjestina Achieng at a wellness center she has been recovering from courtesy of Mike Sonko as she thanked the politician for doing a great job with the boxing heroine.
Following, Radull’s post, Mike Sonko furnished the public with more information, revealing that he had organised several jobs for the boxer upon her full recovery.
