Mbaruk Mwalimu excited after meeting President Ruto at State House

Witty Radio 47 presenter Mbaruk Mwalimu has expressed his unending joy after meeting the country’s number one, President William Ruto at State House.

Mbaruk Mwalimu, who was among the few Kenyan creatives invited at the house on the hill, could not contain his joy as he shared the experience with his followers on social media.

The father of one, through a Facebook post seen by YEIYO.com confirmed his day was nothing short of incredible.

Mbaruk Mwalimu posted several photos of himself shaking hands with William Ruto and a group photo with the President and other Kenyan creatives.

“I had an incredible day today at the State House in Nairobi, where I had the privilege of witnessing exceptional talent from schools all over the country. The performances we witnessed were among the finest presentations showcased during this year’s National Drama Festivals held in Mombasa.” Mbaruk captioned his photo dump.

His fans were equally impressed by the Presidential meeting and duly hit the comments section of his post to congratulate him.

Mbaruk was among the chosen few invited at State House for the 2023 Kenya National Drama Festival.

During the event, President William Ruto praised Kenyan content creators, specifically Timothy Kimani alias Njugush and Eddie Butita who he confirmed earn more than him.

The President commended the two creatives holding that they are great artists worthy to be emulated.

“These are our great artists who today are monetising their content. Pongezi sana (congratulations) gentlemen. Those two young men you see there, they are making more money than my salary,” William Ruto said.

The President congratulated the talented comic personalities for being role models to other youths and urged others to take advantage of the creative spaces and get jobs.

“Those guys are serious entrepreneurs. Congratulations for trail blessing. Congratulations for being the example to many of our young people and knowing that the creatives space, the YouTube space is available for jobs for our young people,” Ruto added.
