• Reacting to Mr Beast’s CSR project, KRG The Don claimed the YouTuber’s kind gesture was not genuine and only aimed at directing more eyeballs to his YouTube channel
• A number of Kenyans wondered why KRG The Don was busy trashing Mr Beast’s effort yet he has done nothing for his countrymen, the ones he claims to love so much
Kenyans, especially those on social media have for the first time turned against one of their favourite stars, KRG The Don over his recent remarks.
KRG The Don, who claims to be a billionaire recently learnt his lesson the hard way after Kenyans pounced on him with an unforgiving troll after trash-talking reknowned YouTuber Mr Beast.
As reported by a cross section the Kenyan and world media, Mr Beast touched the hearts of many people after visiting Kenya, where he oversaw the drilling of over 52 boreholes on his tab.
With his philanthropic deed, popular YouTuber and content creator, Mr Beast attracted admiration of millions of Kenyans, something that seems to have rubbed several people the wrong way, among them; Dancehall artiste KRG The Don.
Reacting to Mr Beast’s CSR project, KRG The Don claimed the YouTuber’s kind gesture was not genuine and only aimed at directing more eyeballs to his YouTube channel.
Speaking during a candid interview with Vincent Mboya, KRG The Don stated that Mr Beast only used Kenyans and his CSR project to make money but not to really solve the water problem in most parts of the country such as Meru County.
The Mambo Imechemuka crooner insisted that Mr Beast knew that he will recover the money he used for the Kenyan project from views accrued on his YouTube channel.
According to KRG The Don, the drilling of ovrr 52 boreholes in Kenya by Mr Beast was just one of his ways of depicting Kenya in bad light and win sympathy views on his YouTube while at it.
“I think you are very wrong my friend. The person you are saying was giving back to the community was here to shoot content for his YouTube channel. We all know what he does for s living. He is a content creator, so he came to benefit from Kenyans but not to help them. He knew the content will give him much traction, or let’s say views. So he was not here to help, he was helping himself,” KRG The Don said.
KRG The Don backed his argument by reiterating that Mr Beast should have solved serious issues like unemployment in Kenya than drilling boreholes.
To the Dancehall artiste, Mr Beast only visited Kenya and drilled the boreholes just for YouTube views and social media traction and nothing else.
He insisted that Kenyans don’t really need boreholes.

“Kenyans have a lot of issues he would have solved but not water. Kenya has no shortage of water. We are dealing with unemployment and high cost of living. He should have dealt with that if indeed he is genuine. He should just have shot his content and leave, instead of making noise,” the struggling and clout hungry Dancehall artiste added.
KRG The Don may have been right or wrong in equal measure but his sentiments did not settle down well with a multitude of Kenyans.
Many felt offended by his remarks and duly called him out on various social media platforms.
A number of Kenyans wondered why KRG The Don was busy trashing Mr Beast’s effort yet he has done nothing for his countrymen, the ones he claims to love so much.
According to many Kenyans on social media, Mr Beast is way better than KRG The Don and local politicians who have not been doing what they need to do to change, rather lighten the burden for most Kenyan families.
A host on netizens even mocked KRG The Don for calling himself a rich musician yet there is nothing he has ever done to help fellow Kenyans.
A serious online troll it was that KRG The Don trended on various social media pages for the better part of Wednesday, November 8.
Kenyans not only bashed KRG The Don but also local political leaders who have been doing nothing to solve the water problem in most parts of the country, especially the Eastern and North Eastern regions.
