A couple of months ago, Mustafa was forced to come out to plead for help after someone leaked his photos while working at a construction site, otherwise known as “mjengo”.

Colonel Mustafa’s photos while working as a construction worker shocked many people who could not fathom how a one-time star could be suffering, rather do odd jobs to make ends meet.

Due to high level of pressure the photos created in Mustafa’s life, he was forced to disclose the quandaries he has been dealing with.

The Monalisa hitmaker, through countless media interviews disclosed he spent all his money on his ailing mother’s treatment hence his then situation.

The musician revealed that his mother has been battling cancer for years now, something that really dealt them a major blow as far as their family’s finances are concerned.

Not only did Mustafa use donation from Kenyans to take care of his mother’s hospital bills but also used the same to relaunch his boutique.

His blessings did not stop at that as more and more well-wishers came out to rescue him.

Various cooperates and individuals supported Colonel Mustafa heavily, in a move that put money in his pocket.

And since Colonel Mustafa had been bitten once, he ensured he does not get bitten for the second time.

The artiste has also been working with BangBet Kenya and a host of other business entity as their brand ambassador, making a substantial amount of money while at it.

Going through Colonel Mustafa’s social media pages, one can outrightly see major growth and difference.

From a struggling Mustafa to a now seemingly succeeding Mustafa, the artiste did not disappoint Kenyans.

Looking at the great change in Mustafa’s life, thousands of Kenyans reminded each other of the Kenyans For Kenya Initiative that saw many people donate money and food to help people facing hunger in Turkana.

The Kenyans for Kenya Initiative was a fundraiser that was started in July 2011, by corporate leaders and the Kenya Red cross in response to media reports of famine and deaths from starvation in Turkana County.

Kenyans being the good people they are, did their thing and saved hundreds of people who were on the verge of losing their lives due to starvation.
