Nominated Nairobi Senator, Karen Nyamu has shoot down claims that she suffered domestic violence in the hands of her baby daddy Samidoh.
The vocal politician was forced to come out and clear the air after she was spotted with an alleged black eye in one of her recent photos shared on social media.
In the photo, Karen Nyamu had rocked a scouts’ uniform, accompanied by a cap which she had slanted a bit to cover one of her eyes which showed some signs of swollenness and blackness.
The mother of three had attended a scouts’ event in Nyeri and posed for the photos which she shared on her official social media pages.
Well, some keen Kenyans looked at the photos and wondered why she seemed to be having a black eye which she was trying to hide.
An army of netizens concluded Samidoh, her lover had dealt her a number, claims the politician vehemently denied through a video shared on her Insta-stories update on Sunday, June 25.
Nyamu did not disclose how she got the black eye or if indeed she had a black eye but condemned her critics, especially women who tried to bring her down by mocking her using domestic violence.
She called out fellow women who used gender-based violence topic to demean and settle their scores with her.
“It is a serious issue and affects a lot of women in Kenya and Africa at large. I wouldn’t keep quiet if I experienced any sort of violence. You know I can’t keep silent…” Karen said in the video.
According to the nominated senator, she was utterly shocked when she came across mean comments under her post as she urged her haters to do better.
She revealed that she informed the person people were alleging beat her up(Samidoh) who laughed off the claims and asked her to ignore social media users and their mean comments.
The black eye claims and her timely response came barely a week after Karen Nyamu made national headlines with her skin care routine.
As earlier reported by a cross section of local media, Karen disclosed she has a flawless skin because she swallows three times a day when a random fan asked her the secret to the aforementioned.
She did not expound more on what she swallows thrice a day but netizens concluded she meant Samidoh’s sperms.
Karen is known for her openness, honesty and always being real to herself and the public.
