Jomo Gecaga’s young and cute baby mama Lola Hannigan is officially a mother of two.
The former TV presenter announced the birth of her second child through Instagram on Wednesday, June 28.
Lola posted four photos of herself holding her newborn baby’s expensive pram, followed by the caption;
“I’m a mum of TWO!!!How Amazing is my God!!!!!” Lola captioned her photos.
Her announcement excited hundreds of her fans and followers who camped on the comments section of her post to congratulate on her new bundle of joy.
Well, while many focused on wishing the new mum well as they congratulated her, quite a multitude shifted their focus on the pram she was holding.
A section of netizens could not help by express their jealousy as they gushed over her super expensive pram on end.
YEIYO.com did a quick online research and discovered that the Silver Cross Kensington Pram Lola was holding retails at over KSh 700,000.
The price tag for the pram stunned many Kenyans who wished they had such money to splash on other “important” things such as buying a car or building a house.
To others, however, the price of Lola’s baby’s pram and her ability to afford it did not come as a surprise.
It should be noted Lola Hannigan’s baby daddy is Jomo Gecaga who is actually former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin.
Jomo used to be Uhuru Kenyatta’s personal assistant during his tenure at the house on the hill.
The latest development unfolded barely days after Jomo Gecaga’s other baby mama, TV girl Anne Kiguta dragged him to court for child upkeep.
Kiguta made national headlines after demanding a whopping KSh 2.7 million monthly upkeep from Jomo Gecaga for their three children.
Through an affidavit sighted by YEIYO.com, Anne Kiguta claimed her children deserves the amount because Jomo Gecaga had introduced their kids to a lavish lifestyle which she wants to maintain even with them apart as co-parents.
“His erratic behaviour and abdication of parental responsibilities has exposed the minors to untold emotional suffering, ridicule and embarrassment. He introduced them to a high standard of life which he must maintain for the children’s well-being,” the affidavit read in part.
In the alternative to the monthly upkeep, Kiguta demanded that Jomo Gecaga should be compelled to deposit a lump sum of KSh 413 million to take care of the children for a period of 12 years until they turn 18 years.
