Mombasa County Governor Abdulswamad Nassir has in countless occasions proven to the world that he is a humble leader who is loved by his supporters.

Many are times the politician has been spotted mingling freely with Wananchi even as he dispenses his duties as the Mombasa County Governor.

The soft-spoken county boss stepped out to join excited Tudor residents for the viewing of the Arsenal versus Manchester United game.

Unlike other politicians who watched the game in posh establishment, Abdulswamad Nassir felt at home in a local video cafe at Tudor area in Mombasa.

Since the politician is a diehard Arsenal fan, he showed up at the video cafe rocking the team’s jersey and enjoyed the game for the entire 90 minutes.

Many people expected that Abdulswamad Nassir would prefer and request for VIP treatment owing to his status but he surprised countless Kenyans by sandwiching himself between his hosts at the video cafe as he followed the game.

Judging by his social media posts moments after the game, it is clear he enjoyed every minute he spent with his people at the video cafe.

Taking to his official media pages, Abdulswamad Nassir posted a video and photos of himself following the game with Tudor residents and celebrating Arsenal’s win after Arsenal’s third goal.

Arsenal won the game with three goals against Manchester United, who conceded with one goal.

“What a game!!! I joined fellow fans at The Hague in Tudor, Mvita for an evening of thrilling football. The gunners did what they do best while that other team did what is does best,” Wrote Abdulswamad Nassir.

The photos, video and his general body language during the “hang out” impressed many Kenyans who camped on the comments section of his posts and other social media platforms to laud him for his high level of humility.

Quite a number of netizens noted that he is the kind of leaders Kenyans want since he has proven to be very close to his supporters and can spend time with them unconditionally.

This is not the first time Abdulswamad Nassir moved many Kenyans with his dotting personality.

He has in the recent past been hitting hitting the ground and lending his ear to Mombasa residents while on and even off duty.
