On Saturday, September 16, Kenyans on Facebook woke up to new photos of singer PDay Hurricane looking all different.
The revered Coast-based musician went for a professional photoshoot and some photos from the session with his fans and followers on social media.
The artiste, who had rocked an all-white outfit seemed way lighter in complexion than usual.
PDay Hurricane through his caption called out a mysterious promoter who wanted to book him with KSh 20,000 for a show.
The Machero hitmaker let out a mother of all rants but instead of focusing on his complaint, countless netizens wanted to know why his skin seemed way lighter on his latest photos.

Outrightly, critics thronged the comments section of his post and accused him of bleaching his skin.
Quite a multitude bashed him for allegedly bleaching his skin, holding that only women are allowed to do that.
However, an army of PDay Hurricane fans and supporters jumped to his defense and vehemently shut down claims that he had bleached his skin.
Many noted that PDay Hurricane’s skin seems lighter because of his new lifestyle which involves the intake of plenty of water.
Others even took time to inform PDay Hurricane’s haters that the musician seemed lighters because the photos he shared had been edited.
According to PDay Hurricane’s supporters and defenders, the star is very much informed and can never bleach his skin.
PDay himself had not addressed the issue as at the time of filing this report.
Efforts by YEIYO.com to reach out to PDay Hurricane for a right of reply proved futile.
PDay Hurricane is not the only Coast artiste to be associated with bleaching.
A couple of years ago, Chikuzee also caused a melee online after photos of himself looking a bit lighter emerged.
Chikuzee was forced to admit to have bleached his skin following pressure from the public.
At first, he denied and insisted his skin looked lighter because he was taking a lot of water and had stopped stepping out more often.
