With the high cost of living Skyrocketing by the day, many Kenyans have been working hard to at least make ends meet.

It is for that particular reason that embattled Kenyan deejay, DJ Brownskin thought it will to get back to work so that he can feed and take care of his two children.

YEIYO.com has learnt DJ Brownskin has been entertaining revelers at different wet holes in the country barely five months after he was implicated in his late wife Sharon Njeri Mwangi’s suicide case.

While there is no harm in any man trying to fend for his family, quite a number of Kenyans did not receive news of DJ Brownskin’s comeback well.

Over the weekend, DJ Brownskin played at a yet to be disclosed location in a move that left a bad taste in the mouths of many Kenyans.

A multitude of Kenyans on social media expressed their disappointment in DJ Brownskin for getting on with his life like nothing happened, just four months after his wife’s death.

Police and other security apparatus were not spared either as Kenyans put them to task to explain why DJ Brownskin was a free man despite having being charged over wife’s suicide.

As earlier reported by a cross section of the Kenyan media, DJ Brownskin was in June 2023, charged with aiding suicide contrary to section 225(b) of the penal code.

According to court documents, the deejay was charged for his role in his wife’s suicide on July 29, 2022.

It was reported that on the aforementioned date, DJ Brownskin counseled his wife Sharon Njeri Mwangi to take her own life at their home in Kariobangi South, Buruburu sub-county.

In the second charge, DJ Brownskin was charged with neglect to prevent a felony; “He failed to use all reasonable cause to prevent his wife’s suicide”.

DJ Brownskin pleaded not guilty to the charges and was held for three days awaiting a probation report.

It should be noted the deejay was arrested on June 1, 2023, as a personal of interest in his late wife’s suicide case.

His arrest was triggered by a public outcry even as a video showing him watching as his wife took poison went viral on social media.
