Radio Africa Group’s crème de la crème radio host Maina Kageni turned a year older on Thursday, June 29.
As it is with such moments, the Classic 105 presenter Maina Kageni’s family, colleagues, close friends and fans took to social media to wish him all the happiness even as he ages.
Among them was his colleague Massawe Japanni from Classic 105’s sister station, Radio Jambo.
The mother of three took to her official social media pages and posted a photo of herself with Maina Kageni in a romantic embrace, followed by a short but sweet birthday message.
While her caption moved thousands of her fans, the photo she used for the post totally irked a multitude of her supporters.

In the photo, Maina Kageni was spotted holding Massawe Japanni tightly as he planted a romantic peck on her cheek.
Massawe seemed to be enjoying the whole moment judging by a flying kiss she sent out while enjoying Maina’s warm embrace.
A section of Massawe and Maina’s fans were impressed by the chemistry the two celebrities share and duly took to the comments section of the former’s post to echo the same.
A throng on netizens, however, found the embrace quite disrespectful considering the fact that Massawe Japanni is a married women and a mother.
Critics who faulted the photo insisted that no married woman should be embraced by a different man from her husband the way she had been embraced by Maina.
Some even tagged Massawe’s husband, Tom Japanni urging him to go for his wife and totally shun such behaviours from the mother of her children.
