Kenyan actor and social media commentator Cassypool has won hearts after disclosing his plans to help legendary musician Colonel Mustafa.
Cassypool has revealed that, together with one of his friends have decided to help Colonel Mustafa’s Mum get the much needed specialised treatment.
Speaking during an interview with Mungai Eve, Cassypool said they have offered to fly Mustafa’s mother to Dubai for specialised cancer treatment.
While announcing his offer, Cassypool noted that he feels bad for Mustafa and prays that everything goes back to normal for him.
“What Mustafa is going through is disheartening. As Kenyans we should help him. He is one of us. In fact a friend of mine has offered to fly Mustafa’s Mum to Dubai for treatment. So, Mustafa can look for me whenever he is ready we initiate the plan.” Cassypool said.
His revelation came barely hours after Kenyans raised over KSh 600k for Mustafa, to help him foot his mother’s hospital bills and treatment.
As earlier reported by Yeiyo.com, Mustafa had disclosed that he had depleted his life savings on his mother’s treatment.
The Kinyaunyau hitmaker revealed that his mother has been ailing from lymphoma.
Prior to his revelation, Mustafa had made headlines after a video of him working at a mjengo site went viral.
The video broke the hearts of many Kenyans who could not believe a one time superstar could turn to construction works.
While some Kenyans dragged him online thinking it was a publicity stunt, many stood with him even as they sent him money and encouragement.
