With that said, Coast-based artistes Master Kimbo, PDay Hurricane and Chibo Dee were recently selected to represent Kenya at the Mpo Africa event to be held in Temeke, Tanzania on Saturday, July 08 2023.
YEIYO.com has learnt that the three popular artistes will be battling it out with Tanzania’s top artistes as they try to put Kenya on the map, as far as good music and musicians are concerned.
According to an official poster seen by YEIYO.com, Master Kimbo and Chibo Dee who hail from Kilifi county and PDay who represents Kwale county will not only be battling it out with Tanzanian artistes in a rap battle but also in the Singeli singing and dancing category.
News of their participation in the event excited and impressed many Kenyans who could not help but laud them even as they wished the trio all the best in the upcoming event.
Quite a number of Kenyan music lovers noted that it was about time artistes from this country prove to the world that they are the best there is in the much-competitive music industry.
Master Kimbo is one of the best hip hop artistes and rap battle star from Kilifi.
Chibo Dee is a fast-rising rapper who has shown great potential in the game having won a number of awards in Mombasa.
PDay Hurricane is known for his vocal ability and is refered to as one of the best singers that the Coast region has ever produced.
