Well, that may be true but celebrities drawn from different entertainment industry in Mombasa recently proved otherwise after coming out in large numbers to offer their financial, emotional and physical assistance following the sudden demise of revered musician Ally B.
YEIYO.com has learnt that countless Kenyan celebrities from the Coast region converged at The New Big Tree Lounge on Saturday, November 11, to honour the late singer Ally B in a well-organised vigil service.
Unlike other vigil services, late Ally B’s close friends, industry colleagues and other industry players came together to celebrate the deceased and raise funds to help the family he left behind while at it.
Information reaching our newsdesk intimate that the Ally B Candle Light Vigil was a total success as countless Kenyan celebrities showed up to condole with the deceased’s family and help in raising funds during the date event.
According to information accesses by this writer, all proceeds from the Ally B Candle Light Vigil will go towards helping the late musician’s wife, his children and close family members get back on their feet following the star’s unexpected demise.
Not only will the funds help in taking care of school fees for late Ally B’s children but also give the wife a stepping stone in bouncing back even with the demise of her late hubby who was the sole breadwinner.
