Celebrated Kenyan artiste Lang’ Katalang’ has come out to plead for assistance even as he awaits his surgery scheduled for Sunday, July 9.
The multi-talented creative, through a medical appeal poster sighted by YEIYO.com online disclosed to fans that he has been ailing for about four years now.
Lang’ Katalang’ revealed that he has been struggling with chronic haemorrhoids which has greatly affected his activities, including music, writing and even charity, which he is very big on.
The artiste was admitted to hospital about a week ago but was discharged this past Monday awaiting a life-threatening surgery this coming Sunday.
The medical appeal poster intimated that Katalang’ will be operated in by a group of experienced surgeons from the United States of America who will be flying into the country on Saturday, July 8.
It was not disclosed where the surgery will be performed but Lang’ Katalang’ is said to be among other patients who will undergo haemorrhoidectomy on Sunday.
The artiste pleaded with Kenyans, his friends and fans to help him raise funds to foot the surgery and haemorrhoids management bills.
The procedure costs KSh 60,000, an amount the popular artiste is struggling to raise owing to the fact he has not been very productive in the past few months.

Through the poster which has fast gone viral, Katalang’s manager pleaded with Kenyans to donate any amount they can afford to help them save his life.
