Responding to the claims , Akothee disclosed she holds no grudge with the school and it’s principal.

Akothee noted that she will still keep supporting the school despite the minor glitch.

Explaining the reason behind the cancellation, the mother of five made it clear that it was the area’s ACK Bishop who inspired the revocation.

“Hi Ma’am, we have new developments in Ngi’ya Girls. We shall have to cancel the event because the ACK Bishop of the area is not comfortable with our presence. They even went to the school and were very hard in the Principal Madam Hellen,” the message read.

This comes barely hours after netizens took to social media to mock Akothee for allegedly being rejected by Ng’iya Girls School’s alumnus and parents.

Some noted that Akothee deserved her fate since she comes nowhere near a role model, especially for girls.

Others supported Akothee, holding that the cancellation was a witch-hunt meant to taint her image.
