Baby Daddy hitmaker Esther Akoth known to many as Akothee is without a doubt one of the few if not the only Kenyan musician doing the most as far as bettering the society is concerned.
Many people may be hating her because of her personality and shenanigans but behind the scenes, the mother of five has been changing the lives of countless Kenyans, especially children.
With that said, the musician on Tuesday, November 21, gave Kenyans another reason to love her even more after publicly announcing the official opening of her own school.
YEIYO.com has learnt Akothee has opened her own school called Akothee Academy which is located in Rakwaro Sub-location, Rongo Constituency, in Migori County.
Breaking the news to her fans and followers on social media, Akothee disclosed the academy is one of her many philanthropic projects to benefit the community.
Knowing Akothee with her big heart, it is clear most if not all students in the academy will be educated for free or even at subsidised rates.
According to The Boss Lady, Akothee Academy will focus more on a holistic approach to learning by fusing academics, life skills and talent development all in a bid to produce all-round students.
Akothee posted several photos of some students from her academy rocking their school uniforms and informed the public that enrolment for 2024 is currently in progress.
The artiste also revealed that her school is hiring qualified teachers to help her shape the lives of students from less privileged families.

Akothee Academy comes barely three months after the musician was blocked from talking to students at Ng’iya Girls High School during a career talk event held at the institution.
Akothee became the subject of heated discussions on social media after her planned visit to the Girls’ school was cancelled on the eleventh hour.
Akothee had in August 2023 been invited by Ng’iya Girls High School Principal Mrs. Hellen Juma to inspire the girls as they pursue education, only for the church that sponsors the school to object and cancelled her session.
